A big shout out to North’s Partner churches. North’s Partners serve in many ways. In addition to serving delicious, nutritious meals, served with hands of love, they join the community in worship, through prayer, music, pulpit exchanges, and mediation. The Partners have included North in their mission budget, donated personal care items, participate as Governing Board members. Partners participate in North’s mission to the community through programs such as “The Stations of the Street” and the “We Care Affair” North's Partners are Covenant, Fairmount, Forest Hill, Pioneer Memorial, Willoughby, Lakewood, Rocky River, John Knox, Christ United, Burton UCC, Valley, Northfield, Chesterland, St. Marks, Lyndhurst, Medina, Old and Stone. Consider inviting your church to join as a Partner in ministry with North Presbyterian Church.
The following is a quote from one of the Partner Church members who served a meal at North:
“I had no idea what to expect attending North church. As I started to take my seat at the end of a row, a woman stood up from the other end with her arms outstretched to hug me. That is how I have always experienced North - as pure love. My experience has been that the people there are patient and compassionate with each other and without the judgement of so many churches. It is a magical, God infused space.”
Last year’s “Stations of the Cross, Stations of the Street” saw about 12 people in attendance. This year, with a bit of promotion, this powerful Lenten event was experienced by over 50, from at least more than 7 congregations and men from the shelter at 2100 Lakeside.
